Pastors Jim &Sue Eikenberry
Jim grew up knowing the Lord. Jim’s father was a Brethren pastor, and uncles and aunts were missionaries. After high school Jim renounced the Lord, became involved in drugs and the occult, and went to the university working to discredit Christianity. However, God was merciful and brought Jim to repentance and faith in Jesus. As an ordained Brethren minister, Jim has served congregations in Nebraska, Missouri, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Delaware and California. Among other things, Jim has tutored elementary children in reading, taught Biblical Greek and world religions in college, and written for the Church of the Brethren Guide for Biblical studies.
Originally from Illinois, Sue grew up Catholic and was in training to become a nun. While in college, she explored many religions, but God never let go of her and she came intoa saving relationship with the LORD in 1973. Her education includes a B. S. and M. S. in Education and the ANE 4-Year Ministry Reading Course. Sue was ordained in 1994 and has served with Jim as a pastor’s wife, associate pastor and co-pastor. Sue most recently served Quail Lakes Baptist Church (Stockton, CA) for 12 years as Director of Women’s and Counseling Ministries. Jim and Sue have two grown sons and 2 beautiful granddaughters.
Jen Buck
A disciple of Christ, a wife, a mother of six, grandmother of two, organizer of things, a joyful Spirit, answerer of phones, preparer of bulletins, listener extraordinaire: what else can we say but Jen keeps things humming in the office.
She is a long time resident of the area and knows the community like no other. It has been said that "she is the glue that holds Mt. Wilson together". Jen is a fantastic asset to our body of faith.
Sherry Weaber
Sherry keeps us clean and tidy, and her two girls are often helping out! As an incredibly hard worker, lover of great music, and definitely an evening person, Sherry can be found washing up to be sure our facilities shine!
